How do I create an account?

Go to my-iptv.app/auth/register, enter your email and a password, then confirm via the verification email we send you. Account creation is free — you can use the Free plan immediately.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in to your dashboard, open Account, and choose 'Delete account'. Deletion is permanent — your providers, profiles, watch history, and any active subscription will be removed within 30 days.

How do I reset my password?

On the sign-in page click 'Forgot password?'. We email a reset link valid for 30 minutes. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder, then contact support.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Not available yet. In the meantime, use a strong unique password — we never see or store your password in plain text.

What is the difference between Free and Pro?

Free: 1 provider, 1 profile, ad-supported, basic EPG. Pro: unlimited providers, 6 profiles, downloads, DVR, AI features, split-view and no ads. Full comparison on the pricing page. Plus is no longer sold — existing Plus subscribers keep their entitlement.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — the yearly Pro plan includes a 7-day free trial, on the web and in the app. Your card is collected up front; nothing is charged until day 7. The Free plan has no time limit.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Open Dashboard → Subscription, pick your new tier, and you'll be redirected to Stripe to confirm. The upgrade is prorated — you only pay the difference for the remainder of the current billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Open Dashboard → Subscription and click 'Cancel subscription'. Your plan stays active until the end of the current billing period — no refund for the unused portion of the month, but you can also reactivate before that date.

How do I add an IPTV provider?

Open Dashboard → Providers → Add provider. On the web you can add Xtream Codes, an M3U URL, or Plex; enter the credentials and we test the connection before saving. Stalker Portal, M3U files, WebDAV and local files are added in the app.

Which provider types are supported?

Xtream Codes, Stalker Portal, M3U URL, M3U file, Plex, WebDAV and local files in the app. The web portal supports Xtream Codes, M3U URL and Plex. EPG XMLTV URLs are auto-detected for Xtream and accepted as a separate field for M3U providers.

My provider says 'test failed' — what now?

Most failures are wrong URLs (forgot http/https), expired credentials, or your IP being geo-blocked. Try the URL in a browser; if it loads JSON or M3U content the URL is correct. Otherwise contact your IPTV reseller.

Are my provider credentials secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes — every credential field is encrypted with AES-256-GCM at rest, with a unique IV per record. The encryption key never leaves the server. On native apps, credentials sync via your iCloud Keychain when enabled.

Which platforms are supported?

How do I sign in on my Apple TV?

Open MyIPTV on Apple TV — an 8-character pairing code appears. On any device, go to my-iptv.app/activate, sign in, and enter the code. Your TV signs in instantly.

How many devices can I use simultaneously?

Free: 1 concurrent stream. Pro: 4 streams. The limit applies across all your devices combined — you can install on as many devices as you want.

Streams keep buffering — what should I check?

Accepted Answer

1) Internet speed — IPTV needs ~10 Mbps for 1080p, ~25 Mbps for 4K. 2) Your provider's load (peak hours can saturate their server). 3) Try a different stream from the same provider; if all stutter, your provider is the bottleneck.

Some channels won't play — why?

Accepted Answer

Most streams are HLS or MPEG-TS, which we play natively. Exotic formats (RTMP, MMS, some MKVs) trigger an automatic VLC fallback. If a channel still won't play, the URL is likely dead — please report it via the contact form.

Can I limit data usage on cellular?

Accepted Answer

Yes — by default we cap quality on cellular to save data. You can override per-stream in the player settings, or globally in Settings → Streaming.

Does it support Dolby Atmos?

Accepted Answer

Yes, when the source stream provides Atmos audio and you're listening on AirPods Pro/Max or an Atmos-capable speaker / Apple TV setup. Spatial audio with head tracking is automatic.

Can I record live TV?

DVR is a Pro-only feature on iOS. Schedule recordings from the EPG, set padding before/after, and recordings are saved on your device. MyIPTV records one program at a time.

Which payment methods are accepted?

On the web: all major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay, through Stripe. In the app: your Apple ID payment method.

Where can I download my invoice?

Open Dashboard → Subscription → Manage billing. That opens the Stripe portal, where every invoice is available as a PDF.
